Let’s take a look at the celebrities who got married in Bali.
Ken Zhu and Vivian Han
Singer and actor Ken Chu and Vivian Han got married in Mulia’s iconic floating glass chapel. They originally planned their wedding in Beijing, but during their visit to Bali, they fell in love with Mulia Resort and changed their plan by having a destination wedding in Bali.
They had a dreamy ceremony at the resort’s eternity chapel, with a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean and a reception at the Mulia’s Grand Ballroom that was transformed into a star-themed affair.
Vivian Shu and Sean Lee
The Taiwanese star Vivian Shu and Sean Lee, her businessman fiancé, said “I do” at Bali’s luxurious private villa, The Edge. Their clifftop wedding was breathtaking and was topped by the newly married couple singing a beautiful song which Sean wrote. They invited 100 guests, which consisted of their closest celebrity friends, to come to Bali.
Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo
Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo are also Taiwanese stars who got married in Bali. They tied the knot in 2016 at the luxurious Bvlgari Resort, Bali, by the illuminating views of the infinity pool. The new Mrs. Huo was dressed in a beautiful Zuhair Murad wedding dress. Edwin Siu and Priscilla Wong
Edwin Siu and Priscilla Wong are a famous TVB duo who had a small but spectacular celebration on Bali’s clifftop with the backdrop of the Indian Ocean. Their ceremony was held at the Six Senses Uluwatu luxury resort with a rustic feel to it. They were already married for a year in a private ceremony, but they decided to celebrate with their parents. So, they’ve decided to hold a Bali celebration in 2019. They’ve also only invited their close friends and families to their relatively secluded wedding.
Grace Chang and Kevin Cheng
The Beautiful Miss Hong Kong of 2013 and TVB actress Grace Chan and Kevin Cheng, her fellow actor from the hit Blue Veins, is the latest celebrity couple who tied the knot at the Bvlgari Resort Bali. Perched 150m above sea level, this resort comes with a range of wedding venues, including the wedding chapel, floating chapel and a villa for a private ambiance. Their wedding has a harmonious blend of modern Italian and traditional Balinese elements.
They’ve also had a traditional Chinese gate-crashing with tea ceremony before the chapel’s main ceremony.
Denise Keller and Robert Gaxiola
The producer, travel presenter, yoga trainer and former MTV DJ, Denise Keller, and Robert Gaxiola, the co-founder of an independent advertising agency at Mangham Gaxiola, officially became Mr. and Mrs. Gaxiola at Uluwatu’s 5-star resort at the Jumana Bali Ungasan Resort. They had a beautiful peach, blush and gold wedding theme going on up to Denise’s gorgeous wedding gown.
Max Loong and Sepideh Haftgoli
Max Loong is an artist at Fly Entertainment, actor, host, and co-owner of many establishments. The former Miss Iran, blogger, and film producer Sepideh Haftgoli got married with a five-day celebration at the breathtaking Khayangan Estate in Uluwatu, Bali.
With a peaceful tropical setting and set in a remote part of the island, this venue is the place for those looking to escape the daily grind and looking to unwind—their accommodation consists of only ten antique wooden Javanese houses, all equipped with modern luxury amenities.
Jennifer Hawkins and Jake Wall
Jennifer Hawkins, former Miss Universe, and her model husband-to-be, Jake Wall, also got hitched in Bali. They had an intimate clifftop ceremony at the beautiful Semara Luxury Villa Resort in Uluwatu, overlooking the Indian Ocean. With only 50 guests, they indeed planned a more private wedding and even hired guards to keep the photographers and press away from the show.
Chris Pratt and Anna Farris
Anna Farris and her ex-husband, the Guardians of The Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt, held an intimate wedding at the famous Four Seasons Jimbaran back in 2009. Their wedding in Bali is known as a last-minute decision, as the couple ordered room service and just found out that the hotel offered wedding services. So they asked the hotel’s staff to arrange a wedding ceremony and hire a local priest complete with traditional Balinese costumes and eventually tied the knot. With all these celebrities flocking to Bali and exchanging their vows, it’s no wonder why the island has gained popularity over the years.
